Updated September 8, 2022:Apple has published an official announcement specifying that iOS 16 and watchOS 9 will be released for everyone next Monday, September 12.
It's done: Apple has just presented at thekeynote Far out.its different modelsd’iPhone 14. The release date of iOS 16 is therefore indeed becoming clearer. While the new range of smartphones will be delivered from Friday September 16, the software for iPhoneshould be available during the week of September 12, probably on Monday or Tuesday, if we rely on the schedule of previous releases. We do not know the precise publication time, but in general, we know that the slot in question occurs in the evening.
So that the update arrives on your mobile without incident, remember that it will be connected to the web on the big day. It is better to rely on a Wi-Fi network to do this, because the program is generally quite heavy and it therefore takes time to download it. A battery charged to at least 50% is therefore also required.
What's new in iOS 16
With iOS 16, Apple offers us one of the most serious major updates in recent years. Within this version, we find in particularnumerous advantages for the security of personal data as listed in this dedicated article. Siri, the Apple company's voice assistant, also hassome additional features as seen right here.
The editor has also improved Photos, which with iOS 16 has a new setting to share an album with up to five friends or family members.

The iPhone 14s are, obviously, automatically delivered with iOS 16. For tablets, iPadOS 16 is also in the loop but will not see the light of day at the same time: we should instead see it arrive in October.
While waiting for the final version, you can also test the editionbeta. However, this may have bugs and it is therefore better to only test it on a device dedicated to this task rather than with your everyday iPhone.
