New iPadscould happen soonon the market. Indeed, the Eurasian Economic Union (EEC) has registered new product certificates from Apple andreferring to new tablets. On the other hand, the latest beta version of iOS 12.2 also includesnew iPad IDs, as well as anouvel iPod touch:
This is not the first time that Apple's EEC and new product registration applications have revealed what's next. This was the case for theAirPods and for the iPhone 7 in 2016. For this time,7 new iPad referenceswere seen: “A2123, A2124, A2126, A2153, A2154, A2133 and A2152”.
This doesn't necessarily mean that Apple will introduce 7 new tablets, however. It is very likely that in these numbers there are the same models of tablets, but declined according to storage capacity and WiFi or WiFi and cellular connectivity.
Still, this corroborates previous rumors about the arrival of new iPads. More precisely, according to the latter and in particular arecent Digitimes report, Apple could by Juneunveil a new iPad mini 5 and a new entry-level iPad. The latter would have a screen of10 inches, unlike the latest 9.7-inch version from 2018.

The code indicates that these new iPadswould not integrate Face ID.
Finally, those waiting for a new version of the iPod touch could see their patience be rewarded this year.
Indeed, still in the code of iOS 12.2 in beta version, a mention of a new iPod touch is also there:“iPod9,1”. It could be aiPod touch 7th generation. As Steve Troughton-Smith points out, however, itwould not be equipped with Face ID or Touch ID. But the device, the latest version of which dates from 2015, in any case deserves a good refresh. Moreover, this is a rumor already heard at the beginning of 2019,via Macotakara in particular. Apple should therefore soon present a new iPod touch and new iPads, including a new mini model.
