Two mentions of unreleased Apple tablets spotted in Indian databaseofficial. These clues could coincide with the arrival of new iPad Pros and new iPad Airs during the current month of April.
If this information is rather serious, it is because it comes from a relatively reliable source. Indeed, Apple is obliged, when releasing new products, to register them with the competent institutions. However, here it is a question ofBIS(Bureau of Indian Standards), which could be compared to the French telecoms policeman, namely ARCEP.
When will these future tablets be released?
New iPad Pro and iPad Air have been discussed since last year, and were originally supposed to be released in March if other rumors are to be believed. But these hypotheses will ultimately not be proven, the journalist fromBloombergMark Gurman, for his part, believes that delays would have pushed the announcements back to the month ofavril. As we have not received any invitation to a possible keynote, we can assume that Apple will present the tablets through a simpler press release.
Announcements are also expected during theWorldwide Developer Conference, which will be held from June 10 to 14. However, this event seems too distant and the iPads should see the light of day before – if no additional delay is retained by the manufacturer.
New features for technical sheets
Several major changes are expected for the iPad Pro and iPad Air which would be released this year.
RegardingiPad Pros, we assume in particular that the panel will switch to OLED technology, thus making it possible to display better contrasts and therefore deeper blacks. Two sizes would be expected: 11 and 12.9 inches.
With this, Applereportedly planning to unveil two iPad Air models. A large 12.9-inch version would be new, while today only the 10.9-inch edition is available in stores. The latter could be released at the same time as the new one, with the M2 or M3 chip under the hood.
