The 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Max chip (12-core CPU, 38-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine) + 96 GB of RAM + 8 TB SSD thus amounts to7 599 euros. This, without counting the addition of pre-installed software during pre-order. Otherwise, Logic Pro (music) adds 239.99 euros to the total, compared to 349.99 euros for Final Cut Pro (video editing).
Better value for money with the M2 Pro chip?
The good news is that you clearly don't have to break the bank on an M2 Max processor if you're just looking for a great Apple laptop. A choice to think about before purchasing, because it is then impossible to change the chip, even in the Apple Store. For RAM, it's the same thing: you won't be able to add any modules afterwards, unlike what Cupertino offered a few years earlier.
The Mac mini M2 for more than 5,000 euros
