it fixes the biggest problem with the Magic Mouse (video)

Apple has failed in the design of some products in its history, but none has attracted as much attention as the Magic Mouse. If Apple's mouse, launched for the first time in 2009 and updated in 2015, is part of the walls on the Cupertino side, its design still leaves something to be desired.

At first glance,la Magic Mouseseems to be an elegant, functional mouse that is perfectly integrated into Apple's ecosystem. But in reality the main problem with this mouse lies underneath. In fact, its connection to recharge it is located under the mouse, which makes it unusable during this recharge time.

Fortunately this design concern, known for years, has beencorrected many timesby third-party accessories. Apple has never taken the time to update its mouse or at least provide a solution to make it easier to recharge.

Recently, the YouTube channel Unnecessary Inventions found a great tip for Magic Mouse owners. Matty Benedetto, the host of the channel, has in fact designed a small device, allowing you to recharge a Magic Mouse while using it.

Apple still does not react

This isn't the first time a user has come up with a design like this to fix the Magic Mouse's biggest problem. Despite all this agitation in the Apple community, the Cupertino company has never wanted to provide concrete solutions to its users, leaving them with an unusable mouse each time they recharge.

The obligation to switch to USB-C in Europe had raised a wave of hope among Magic Mouse owners. He hoped that this change in connectivity would push Apple to review the design of its mouse, perhaps by providing wireless charging. But despite the modifications made to the iPhone, the AirPods, the Apple Pencil and more recently the AirPods Max, Apple has not (yet) acted for the Magic Mouse.

The latest version of the mouse, released in 2015, is still available for sale on the Apple website. It is sold in two colors at a price of €109.

Finally, know that on Amazon you can finda docking station for Magic Mouse. This does not allow you to use the mouse while charging, like the solution seen above in the video, but it avoids having to turn the device over to plug it in.
