The American site9to5Mac discoveredin the iOS 12 beta 5 files, images of the next AirPods case. This is the case ofwireless chargingAirPods, which was unveiled by Apple during the iPhone X keynote.

The images in question show thewireless charging case for AirPods. We can see that it includesan LED outsideof the case, which indicatesthe state of chargeof the case.

The LED can display aorange light, to indicate charging in progress or low battery level. But also agreen lightto indicate that the box is sufficiently charged.

Apple unveiled this case at last year's iPhone event. It will probably be released in the fall of 2018 at the same time as AirPower, Apple's multi-device wireless charger.

According to Bloomberg, Apple had planned to launch their wireless charger in June, but the Apple firm decided to postpone the release of it due to overheating problems.

Apple engineers are reportedly testing the current version of AirPower by using it every day to charge their various devices, and hope to be able torelease this product in Septemberor before.
