iOS 15: 20% of users would have updated

Since mid-September, iOS 15 has been available to all users. This update includesvery welcome new features. To cite just one example, the Translate app now includes a conversation mode that allows you to chat with someone who speaks another language.

Bugs delaying the transition?

With these many advantages, iOS 15 has had an adoption rate of 19.3% since September 20, according to data from the mobile analysis company Mixpanel. Note that these are not official figures and that we will have to wait a little longer before Apple communicates on this subject. The last time the Cupertino company did so was last June to announce an 85% adoption rate on iOS 14.

As noted by our colleagues fromMacRumors, the transition to iOS 15 this time seems a little slower than that to its predecessor. Several reasons can explain this, including the fact that the Apple brand guarantees a sufficient security update for iOS 14 users.

Likewise, it is possible that certain bugs could cool some of them down. Wewe were talking to youin particular because customers, who upgraded to iOS 15 and who combine its use with that of the new iPhone 13, noted that this caused CarPlay to crash as soon as they tried to listen to music.

Other issues have been reported such as one that prevents some iPhone 13 users from using the unlock feature with the Apple Watch. The Apple brand indicated that it had worked to rectify the situation and that this will be done in a subsequent update. No date has yet been given and you will therefore have to have a little patience before benefiting from it.
