iOS 18 was presented Monday June 10 by Apple, witha multitude of new features. This upcoming major upgrade for iPhone offers many customization options, which Apple users previously did not have access to. In particular, it is possible tochange icon colorand rearrange them as you wish.
Following the presentation of these new options offering more choices to users, some accused Apple of having lost its identity. Their argument is that iOS has gone from a minimalist OS, in the Steve Jobs era, to a complex operating system with too many options.
To support their point, they mention the new functionality of iOS 18 which allows you to describe a functionality to Siri in order to find it. The general idea of the disgruntled is that "there are so many features in iOS that it is now necessary to ask Siri to find them." It is true that iOS now offers a wide range of choices, but this is progress, especially since Apple's strong point is theuser experience optimization, in order to avoid any feeling of overload or bulk.
Beyond the customization options, iOS 18 also offers new animations, including one that concerns the volume of the phone. Since this is a setting that we adjust several times a day, you will definitely notice the change!

Once iOS 18 is installed, you will discovera new animation for when you need to turn the volume up or down. This animation prolongs the press of the button on the screen, and oscillates the volume slider.
This is therefore a new animation, and not a bug. This isn't a huge change, but it's still important to note. Incidentally, this animation was only observed in the iOS 18 beta and not in iPadOS 18. To learn more about iOS 18,discover the six points that struck us during the last Apple conference.
