The latest rumorsThere is a lot of talk in the tech world about the iPhone 12, which is supposed to arrive next fall. In fact, they announce that Apple's next smartphone could be delivered without headphones and even without a charger. And the sources are rather serious.Even renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuosupports the absence of charger and headphones in the box of the next iPhone.

In addition, this proposal is reinforced every week with new clues. The latest is astudy proposed by Apple to consumers. It was revealed on Twitter by a certain Gustavo Alves Reis. He claims that when exchanging his iPhone XR for another model on the Apple site, he was asked to complete a survey asking the following question with five answer choices.

“What did you do with the USB charger that came with your iPhone XR that you just replaced? :

  • I sold it and traded it with the iPhone
  • I lost it
  • I gave it to a relative
  • I still have it at home
  • I kept it outside the house (e.g. at work, school, or elsewhere)”

Apple survey I received via email. Several questions about using the charger! Will we have an iPhone 12 without a charger in the box? ? will it have??@juniornannetti @marchwill pic.twitter.com/q1kiiCVeQL

So of course, this survey is not formal proof that Apple intends to no longer deliver a charger with its next iPhones. All the same, the investigation clearly shows that the Cupertino company is interested in the future of the chargers supplied with its iPhone. And one of the reasons for this interest could well be the desire to no longer add them to the boxes of future smartphones, including the iPhone 12.
