According to the former KGI analyst
Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo, the most reliable source for upcoming
Apple products, the Apple firm would unveil three new iPhones at the
back to school 2018, two models with 5.8 and 6.5 inch OLED screen, and model
cheaper with 6.1 inch LCD display.
The American site
BGR would have obtained an imagefrom a factory drawing used by
the props designer Ghostek who shows a3D creation of iPhone
LCDwhich should be released in September and confirms several pieces of information
on this model.
First of all it appears that the border of this iPhoneplus
thick on iPhonedue to LCD screen technology which is not
not flexiblelike the iPhone X's OLED screen.
Normally at the bottom of any screen there isand
connectorwhich must be connected to the printed circuit, it is therefore necessary
leave space at the bottom of the screen for this connector, this explains
the thick border at the bottom of many Android smartphones.
But with the iPhone X's OLED screen, Apple has achieved what no other
smartphone manufacturer is not capable of doing, namelyfold the
lower part of the screenand the connectorbelow
the oneto reduce the border to a minimum.
This not being possible with an LCD display, the border would be
thicker bottom of iPhone X LCD, and to have a
certain homogeneity Apple would retain thissame thickness all
around the screen.
This 3D creation of the iPhone
of a single photo sensor as suggested by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, but
also from other sources in recent months.
What do you think of this slightly thicker border on the iPhone
LCD ?
