Several rumors suggest that Apple could launch aMacBook Pro M4before the end of the year. In his latest report on the Apple brand, analyst Ross Young suggests that the Cupertino company could launch this computer in the fall. He is joined on this point by journalist Mark Gurman.
The latter specifies that Apple's timetable for computers is already established for the end of the year and 2025. The Apple brand could thus market a MacBook Pro in 2024, as well as a Mac mini. Next year, it would be the turn of the MacBook Air, Mac Studio and Mac Pro to be updated by the bitten apple.
What's new for the MacBook Pro M4 ?
The information given by Gurman is, however, quite lackluster from the point of view of new developments. Indeed, the journalist believes that changes will be very slight on this model, with Apple already working ona big modification of its high-end computer for 2026.
In addition to the M4 chip, which has already hit the market with the latest iteration of the iPad Pro, Apple is expected to integrate smart features into its MacBook Pro. On the processor side, it could benefit from the Pro and Max versions of the M4 chip. Several experts estimate that they would provide between 25% and 50% additional power for the laptop.
2000 euros minimum?
Regarding the format, Apple would not want to touch the current recipe and will probably keep 14 and 16 inch screens. The largest model will also be the most powerful.
No indication has yet been given on the price of such a machine. When we know that Apple is selling todaythe MacBook Pro M3 at €1999(in its 512 GB version), we can expect that 2000 euros will be the floor price for this new device.
