Magic Keyboard: unboxing and getting started in video

The fourth-generation iPad Pro was released last month, and we've already received it. But before revealing our complete feedback on the tablet, we were able to quickly test itsaccessorywhich allows it to be transformed into a real “computer” as its manufacturer likes to market it: the Magic Keyboard.

This product, which offers a set of keys toscissor mechanism(goodbye butterfly, phew!) without numeric keypad and a trackpad, already has its own shortcuts in certain applications for iPadOSlike the latest version of iMovie. But then, what is this reference worth, displayed at several hundred euros in the Apple Store?

Our opinion on the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro

Available in two sizes, for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (4th gen.) and its 11-inch little brother, thenouveau Magic Keyboardfinally arrived in our mailbox a little earlier than expected. This is equipped with a USB-C port for recharging, and connects to the tablet using a magnet, the Smart Connector, located on the edge of the device. It's backlit, which is ideal for all those night owls who work the night shift.

In addition, this keyboard folds easily to serve as a protective shell for the panel, but also for confidentiality, because the microphone of theiPad Prothen physically disconnects. It is the T2 chip that allows this feat, also available on some Mac models.. Did you also receive the Magic Keyboard at home? If so, what are your first impressions?

Countfrom 339 to 399 eurosfor each model, the price varying depending on the size. Here are the best prices currently offered by third-party resellers or the manufacturer's official store for the 11″ version:
