The very long version for Apple TV+
Finding the entire story of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in a single film is impossible, unless it lasts dozens of hours. Ridley Scott and his teams had to think long and hard about what they would choose to show or not. In this context, it can be difficult to make choices. We can imagine that this is perhaps the reason why the film will appear on screens in two versions.

If you wish to watch the film in a cinema, you will be entitled to the version oftwo thirty-eight. But the director announced that he was working on a longer version of the film, intended for the Apple TV+ streaming platform.
