You have several solutions available when choosing a GPS navigation system for your iPhone. Google Maps and Waze can guide you perfectly whether you are by car, on foot or by bike. Let's not forget Apple Plans, perhaps a little less popular than its two competitors, but also functional. The application is precisely trying to compensate for its delay by integratinga functionality similar to what Google Maps already offers.
Look Around, equivalent of Street View, available on the web version of Apple Maps
The web version of Apple Plans now includes the feature namedLook Around closely resembling Google Maps Street View.It allows you to “visit” places virtually in 360° at ground level, all in high resolution. Note that Look Around has already been available for several years on iOS, but this web integration allows users outside of Apple's ecosystem to use it. To access Look Around on this version, you must zoom in sufficiently on a specific location on the map then click on thebinoculars icon that appears at the bottom left of the screen.
Note that Look Around is only available in certain major cities around the world including Paris. The function is currently available onthe web version of Apple Plansin beta since last summer. Another major novelty, this iteration of the Apple brand's GPS navigation systemnow supports French language.
A fairly important step forward to push users to use the web version of Apple Plans more regularly. Not only can you program routes, but you can also access numerous guides to discover new places directly from this still-in-development iteration.
