Last year, about the same
time, we haddiscovered
and appreciated a very inexpensive caseoffered by the Turata brand. She
was at the time intended for the iPhone 6/6s.
This year, we wanted to check if the model suited to the new range
of iPhone was also attractive.
The iPhone 7 / 7 Plus model is sold herepriced at…6.99
euros !
Here is a relatively quick test, especially enhanced with
photo :
This is the black version, intended for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus which is
presented, but the hull also exists
in red/burgundy color.
First surprise for this type of inexpensive product, usually delivered
in a common plastic bag, here care is taken in the packaging and
the presentation. Indeed, a particularly protective cardboard box
opens to make room for the shell itself but also for a small cloth
for the screen and a storage pouch.
The hull itself isperfectly finished, no trace
molding or other. It is made of plastic but offers a so-called "human skin" feel.
peach" which makes it very different from a classic shiny plastic.
We also note itsimpressive finesse of less than one
mm.
Thanks to the notches provided on the lower corners, no need to force
for installation or when removing it.
Once installed, we realize how much the whole thing is
perfectly fitted. Once installed. Nothing moves and every cut
is precisely where it should be, result: a
particularly compact and homogeneous together, the case and the iPhone form a
All ! The buttons are also protected but can still be manipulated without
no problem.
In use, the hull ispleasant for its finesse, she does not
adds almost nothing to the machine. Shewill therefore protect above all
scratches and other transport damage, probably less big
falls. The fact remains that it is very enveloping sinceeven the part
bottom of the iPhone is covered.
Thegrip is good, sometimes a little slippery but very
pleasant. A regret already expressed last year, thecoating
mark a lotwith the fat of the fingers. It cleans without problem,
but the hull is often marked.
For those who are wondering, on the rear, the optical part of
the camera remains flush and therefore in contact with the support, this
gives a perfectly flat rear, thus correcting the wobbly appearance of
the iPhone laid flat naked. Only one leftjust a little bit more thickness
and the camera glass would have been protected from scratches when placed
on the back.
In the end, a product ofexcellent value for money,
protective end and perfect manufacturing, with the only handicap being traces
fingers often visible.
