For a few weeks now,rumors are multiplying about a new remote control for the Apple TV. Obviously nothing official at the moment, but enough to give color to the ink, especially since a new clue straight from thetvOS 14.5 source code(in beta) was released this week. We thus recognize a clear mention of a button which still does not exist on the current version of the accessory.

Concretely, the component seems to resemble theclothespinswhich already existed on the first generation of Apple TV, or even on old iPods. The operation could then be similar to the Digital Crown that we know on Apple Watch, but nothing is less certain at the moment. Indeed, this could only be a potential prototype and nothing says that the manufacturer actually intends to market such a product one day.
White label?
If, however, this were the case, then it is likely that it is not even Cupertino which is responsible for selling this item. However, it could be sold by subcontractors or partners, including television network access providers already offering Apple TV in their offers. The name of the American companyUniversal Electronics was thus mentioned, of course still without confirmation from the apple brand.

It's difficult to know more about this hypothetical remote control at the moment. But there is no doubt that the coming weeks will be less stingy on this subject, especially since other sources affirm thata revisited TV box would also be on the way for 2021.
