For Phil Schiller, Apple will never produce a 'low-cost' iPhone

At the start of the week,the Wall Street Journal reactivated the
rumor of a 'low cost' iPhone
.

To cut all this short,Phil Schiller, responsible
of marketing at Apple saw fit to come out of reserve by asserting
thatApple will never produce such an iPhone:

Obviously, this denial does not mean much andat companies
at the apple might one day change your mind
, the iPad mini is the
evidence. However, it seems obvious that it is not this year that you
will be able to get a low-cost iPhone.

As we already said earlier,Apple is not in the habit of
cut back on the quality of its products
to bring down the
price. As has been the case for several years, the entry-level iPhone
is actually made up of models from previous years.

But as they say: “never say never…”
