iOS plans: Apple tests alerts when a reported issue is resolved

Since iOS 6,
Apple offers its own mapping service, Maps. Often criticized for
its imperfections, Plans is neverthelessused by a
large majority of users
even if it isGoogle
Maps which came at the top of our survey
.

In order to improve its service, Apple is working hard and has even
acquired numerous companies in recent months. But, each user can
also make a contribution by pointing out local errors. However, a
MacRumors reader was surprised to find that a notification could
be sent to him to notify him that the problem has been resolved:

Don't rush into Plans headlong, apparently this news
feature is no longer in beta and only some users have it
the scoop.

Since the creation of Plans, each user can report errors
spotted. To do this, simply press 'i' at the bottom right of the app to
that the choice 'a problem' is proposed with then a list of types
of errors.

It is by doing this manipulation that a user was offered the
choice to be alerted when the reported problem is resolved. In this case
precise, it was even quite quick since Apple sent the notification two
days later indicating that the problem had been resolved.

This possibility can be deactivated if the user does not want to be required
aware.

Today, it must be recognized that the user had to display the
card on Plans fairly regularly in order to see if the problem had been
fixed.. or not, which was quite tedious. If we know that Plans remains
very perfectible, this notification could well (re)motivate users
to report errors more and more often, thus allowing the service to
cartography to improve regularly.

Did you spot this possibility in Plans? Would you go back
errors more regularly with the generalization of this
notification ?
