According to the Wall Street Journal,
Steve Zadesky, in place at Apple since 1999 and which would have
recently been at the head ofTitan project, would be on the
departure. He would have announced that he would soon leave the Apple firm to
personal reasons. He would therefore leave the controllers of the Apple program
Car :
Formerly an engineer at the American automobile manufacturer Frod,
Zadesky joined Apple 17 years ago. He would have workedon
the first iPhone and iPodand on their descendants. Since 2014,
Zadesky would have taken the reins of the electric car development project
at the Cupertino company.
If the information is correct, this resignation sounds like a blow
of brilliance and even if the person concerned insists on the personal reasons for his
departure, there is no doubt that a good number of speculations will soon flourish on the
toileon all the possible causes that could have pushed him to
leave.
What we know is that Apple conducted recruitment in 2015
particularly aggressive employees specializing in electric cars and
autonomous driving, notably by drawing ondirectly to
Tesla(and vice versa), which could become a direct competitor to
the future. The Apple firm will certainly be able to find without too much difficulty a
replacement of choice for the vacant position.
Remember that according to rumors last year, the Apple Car project
shouldsee the light of day by 2020, in a form still
uncertain, it could be a real apple car, a
collaboration with a car manufacturer, or anything else.
