Rumors: three iPhones in 2018, iPhone X Plus in dual-Sim, high resolution, return of a “gold” version?

For several months
now, the renowned and reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo asserts through
different reportsthat the
Cupertino company should release three new iPhones at the start of the school year
2018: a 6.1-inch LCD model, and two OLED models in 5.8 and 6.5
inches.

And now a new report from the American newspaper Bloomberg
corroborates Ming-Chi Kuo’s sources and provides some clarifications
interesting, such as a potential arrival ofDual Sim pour l’iPhone
X More
, aversion Orand details about the
resolution.

According to the sources of the well-informed journalistMark Gurman
from Bloomberg, the Apple firm would offer three new iPhones this
year, a 6.1-inch LCD model with the design of the iPhone
glass back for wireless charging and an aluminum frame, this would
the cheapest iPhone of this generation.

The other two models would be equipped with an OLED screen and a metal frame.
steel, with a successor to the iPhone
or iPhone X Plus in 6.5 inches. OLED models would use a
new A12 processorand one of them could propose
a Gold coloris.

Concerning the iPhone X Plus or the 6.5-inch OLED model, Apple would evaluate
the possibility of addinga Dual SIM function, pour
use it with two SIM cards, as the name suggests, which can be
practical for those who have a personal number and a second
professional.

Ideally Apple would like to use E-SIM technology, as is the case
for the iPad Pro or Apple Watch Series 3, but the carriers are still
reluctant to this idea.

Internally, the 6.5-inch OLED model was named “D33” (and D32 for the
5.8 inches), and according to Bloomberg certain prototypes would offer a
1242 x 2688 resolutionwith a density of 480 to 500 pixels
per inchaccording to Ming-Chi
Kuo
.

It therefore seems that we are moving more and more towards three models, with
different prices to reach a wide audience.
