While the range of protections for our iPhones is ever-expanding, we have recently seen trials of entry-level transparent protections or various cases. But for those who appreciate beautiful products, on par with an iPhone, there are also more high-end and much more elegant solutions than ordinary iPhone cases. It is therefore towards aFrench manufacturerthat we are going to turn to today. It is aboutNoreve, which we have been following for a very long time (well before the iPhone, at a time when smartphones still had keyboards and Microsoft was rather comfortable in the field).

The test here concerns aleather case with side flaptested in iPhone XR version knowing that it is available indifferent colors, finishes and for the iPhone X, XS and other models.
The case is delivered perfectly protected! Judge instead, a plastic, a cardboard box with the arms of Noreve (we notice the bell tower of the church of Saint Tropez, where the company is based) and inside a fabric pouch and the case.
The model chosen here is black, in synthetic leather. The color was chosen to go with the red of the iPhone XR used, but the cases come in more than10 different colors, with even the possibility of choosinga different color for the interior and change the type of leather, among the 8 variations ranging fromsynthetic leather, from aged effect leather, to smooth leather and grained leather.

The unpacked case appears in its entirety, with the metallic Noreve logo on the front and perfectly fitted seams.
The front is rigid and made with two layers of leather, which means that it is protective, perfect for the screen.
The rear part is completely rigid, an interior shell will protect the iPhone in the event of falls.
Installation is carried out without forcing. The whole thing then appeared very well adjusted and the iPhone was held in place without it seeming to be able to come out inadvertently.
The part that protects the screen clips directly onto the iPhone, can be put on and taken off without problem, knowing that the tab responsible for this closure, in contact with the machine, is also covered in leather.
When the case is closed, we have a very homogeneous block, which does not move.
Removing the iPhone from the protection remains doable when the need arises, just pull a little hard and presto.

Should we find a fault in it? The only aspect that must be kept in mind is linked to this type of protection, it is much more imposing than a simple shell, but it is also the assurance of protecting the screen on a daily basis. The weight of the protection for the model tested is approximately 100 g.
In the end, we really appreciated the manufacturing quality, the precision of the assembly and the handling of the machine. Effective protection that complements the iPhone with elegant style.
Better still, the possibility of completely personalizing the case makes it a faithful and unique companion.
