An iPad Pro with a mini LED screen for early 2021?

According to several people close to the Apple brand, Apple intends to exita new iPad Pro in early 2021. The latter would be equipped with a screen with a brand new technology, mini LED. It offers many advantages over OLED, notably better energy consumption, but also much better image contrast and better general brightness management. The sources at the origin of this information also explain that the mini LED reduces the risk of the screen heating.

According to ET News, it is LG which should soon provide these new screens to Apple. Still according to this source, Apple plans to use these screens for MacBooks and iMacs during 2021, which should shake up the LCD market.

New screens for 2021?

For the Cupertino company's analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will first upgrade its 12.9-inch iPad Pro to this new screen technology before touching on the 11-inch flagship model.

According to the brand's experts, this change should first take place on MacBooks and iMacs. So the new screen should have been presented to the public at the end of 2020 (during the November 10 event?)

But it is now clear that Apple has changed the program and that these screens, like the iPhone 12 earlier this year, will arrive on the market, but with a delay. It should logically be presented during Apple's first event of 2021.
