Netatmo, the first iPhone/iPad compatible personal weather station

There are many weather applications on the App Store and their forecasts
are sometimes inaccurate or remain imprecise. To remedy this problem,
several accessories for iPhone are emerging, notablythe station key

Today it's the turn ofa new weather accessory for iPhone
called Netatmoto be presented. Co-founded by the creator of the

iPhone), Netatmo is actually a French start-up that just
just to market its first product which is none other than the first
personal weather station compatible with iPhone or
the iPad:

The latter is composed oftwo aluminum modules made of tubes
one of which is to be placed inside your home and the other
the exterior. Each of these two devices brings together different
sensors to measure in real time atmospheric pressure,
outdoor and indoor temperature, humidity, air quality, rate
of CO2 or even the noise level as well as providing a detailed forecast on
7 days.

Once all the data has been collected, it will be sent by a
Internet connection via WiFi so that a device equipped with iOS can
view viaa dedicated iPhone application available here
for free on the App Store. The collected data will be stored
free online without any limits and they will be accessible from
multiple devices with the app.

The advantage of this weather station is undoubtedlythe measurement of the
indoor air quality. In the case of pollution, this
application called Netatmo can also send a notification
instantaneous to the user in order to warn him and allow him to react
for example by opening the windows.

The iPhone application is also capable of displaying data
collected in the form of graphic curves in order to carefully follow in
their evolutions over time.
