Apple working on augmented reality glasses with Carl Zeiss

Virtual reality is confirmed at Apple,
following a new analyst reportRobert Scoble, citing
a source close to the companyCarl Zeiss. The latter is
a specialist in precision optics and lenses, particularly in the field
photography. She would therefore bein close collaboration with the
Cupertino company, for the development of apair of
augmented reality glasses:

This follows previous rumors heard last year about
ofthe arrival of Apple on the VR market. Some see
arrive the firm at the apple
with dedicated equipment in 2018, others predict an integration of the
VRIn
Apple products, within 3 to 5 years.

And we had already seen Scoble affirm, on his blog, the coming
from a 2018 iPhone
accompanied by these new technologiesvirtual or augmented reality.

Concerning Zeiss, no information has been released, other than the statements
of one of the employees of the German company, reported by Scoble, and according to
which the optics manufacturerworked well with Apple on
augmented or mixed reality glasses. Besides, no
interesting highlighted by the blogger, during theCES 2017, Zeiss was established in full
area dedicated to augmented reality, without presenting any product in the
domain… From there to saying that Apple would be behind this ban, there is no
only one step, which we will not take.
