The App Store has far exceeded
the 500,000 applications and it is increasingly difficult for a new
application as for an old one, to succeedto emerge and
(re)position in the rankings. This is all the more so since the
competition and the lack of promotional means offered by Apple in the App
Store have created a parallel ecosystem with a certain number of
marketing of apps offeringartificially boost positions
in the App Storeor even create fake reviews.
Apple seems to havedecided to reactetposted a
warning to developers:
This clearly indicates that developers or publishers who use
solutions that promise or guarantee positioning in the
top apps from the App Store could be banned from the program
development.
This means that their applications would suddenly be removed from the store.
Apple takes care to specify that this will be the case even if the developer
is not directly responsible for the manipulation of positions or reviews
but following the use of a third-party service.
It seems that this happens followinga post in the forum
by TouchArcade, evoking a commercial service using a
automated solution to artificially raise
applications in the top of the App Store. A clear fraud that Apple
must fight so that the top of the App Store retains a little
meaning for consumers.
This is clearly part of Apple's tendency to be interested in
close to the content of its App Store, knowing that the company removed
a few days a number of applications which werecopies
manifest and obvious of applications having experienced
success on the App Store.
Better to be warned...
But in fact,do you trust the top of the App Store for your
choice of apps?
