With this agreement, Apple TV+ will offer more children's programs

The name of Maurice Sendak is not necessarily well known to the general public. His work is much more so. Died in 2012, he is behind very big names in popular culture and especially the albumMax and the Maximonsadapted many times since then and notably in a film released in 2009 by Spike Jonze.

Apple TV+ has just signed a multi-year global agreement with the Maurice Sendak foundation which manages the latter's artistic heritage. The streaming service will therefore be able to draw on the work of this very prolific author of children's literature. To bring these different projects to life, the platform will be able to count on Arthur Yorinks. He collaborated for a very long time with Maurice Sendak and will therefore be the guarantor of fidelity to his work.

Numerous exclusivity agreements for Apple TV+

Once completed, these programs will be broadcast exclusively on Apple TV+ which will be able to enrich its catalog with new programs aimed at children. For the moment, this remains quite small. However, we can findSesame Street,Ghostwriter: the secret of the pen, or evenSnoopy in space.

Apple TV+ in any case continues to sign exclusive agreements. Recently, the platform acquired the rights toGreyhound, the last film ofTom Hanks, as well as the feature film ofWill Smith Emancipation. For his part,Ridley Scottwill also produce content for the streaming service via its production company.
