To make a long story short, just go to the Settings app, then continue inGeneral > Software update.From there, let yourself be guided.
As with each new version of iOS/iPadOS, we advise you the following: check, before installing the update, that your iOS or iPadOS devicehas enough disk spacein order to download the new software without error.
iOS 18.1: room for Apple Intelligence… But not (yet) in France
iOS 18.1 brings several notable changes. The biggest of them:l’I.A. Apple Intelligenceand all the functionalities that result from it (automatic categorization of emails, intelligent responses to messages, writing tools, in particular). Unfortunately for users outside the USA, Apple Intelligence is currently not accessible. For France, we will have to wait a few more months and the start of 2025.
Apart from AI, iOS 18.1 still has othersgreat new features to showcase. We are thinking, among other things, of call recording, the new Siri animation, the taking into account of the context by Siri or even the magic eraser for photos.
