Now when a developer
wants to integrate maps into his iOS application, he has the choice of using the
Apple's solution or Google's.
Although the question may seem simple to resolve, the point of view of
developers is interesting and we quickly realize thatboth
solutions have advantages and disadvantages.
Google Maps, or Plans, the floor is up

Unsurprisingly,the easiest to integrate is Mapkit
d’Applewhich is more suitable for beginners. As we could imagine
doubt, Apple's solution is simpler to handle and integrates globally
better to iOS.
Unfortunately, this solution suffers from its reputation forcan
lead to unreliable resultswho will quickly feel it
on App Store reviews.
The choice may therefore be to turn tothe solution of
Google, much more reliable, but here too everything is not rosy. In
Indeed, each developer hasa quota of 100,000 requests
daily. While this may seem like a lot at first glance, but
each action can activate several requests at the same time and come to nibble
seriously the quota of the day.
As you can see, the choice is not simple at all.The
ideal solution would be to be able to draw from one or the other
but you shouldn't dream too much.
In the meantime, developers who are undecided or keen to offer the best
possible experience can always make the choice to integrate the two and
let the user choose…
