:

My utilities

Viber & Whatsapp: Used in 3G or via Wi-Fi,
they allow you to send and receive unlimited SMS and
free way. Viber also allows you to call for free and in
unlimited with contacts who have installed the application on their
smartphones. Very practical when you have many contacts located at
abroad and when temporarily abroad. Both apps
form a nice complementarity since certain contacts may not
have one of these two applications.

Skype: Still in applications to communicate,
Skype is an application that every user of the service must have in
his iPhone. Quite complete, the application allows you to be permanently connected
even outside of home. You can make calls as well as send
simple messages to your contacts.

Dropbox: Online storage solutions are
multiple on the market and DropBox is a reference. For those who don't have
no idea what DropBox is, in a few words it's a solution that
allows you to store your files in a specific directory on your computer
(Mac or PC) and they are automatically synchronized on the
different media (PC/Mac, iPhone or even iPad). If you have several
computers and/or iOS terminals (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) and that you
want to have access to your files on the move, the DropBox application is
made for you.

Eurosport: As a sports fan, it's obviously
the application to absolutely have on your iPhone to consult and follow all
sports news. The application, whose stability is impeccable, sends
notifications related to sports news and you can also configure
alerts to receive information (news, score evolution, start of
match, end of match) on his football or rugby team(s)
favorite(s) and even on his/her favorite tennis player(s)
(news, end of set, start of match, end of match). The application has
in particular a video space and a Live section to follow in real time
the evolution of scores sometimes accompanied by comments.

NewsFlash: Although I have several applications
(Le Monde, etc.) to follow the news from my iPhone, News Flash is
the one I consult most often. With no less than 21 sections
(politics, world, business, auto, culture, etc.) to keep or not according to our
preferences and 11 countries (France, United States, Germany, United Kingdom, etc.),
NewsFlash allows you to follow both French media and local media
foreigners in a language of your choice for certain countries. Very simple
of use, the application also allows you to add other flows yourself
RSS and save articles with one click to read later
on another dedicated application. The only downside is that we could perhaps regret
the absence of notifications.

Readability: Released in 2012 and announced as the big
competitor of Pocket and Instapaper, this deferred reading application allows you
allows you to store items (including images) from
directly from Safari and other applications that integrate it. You can
in particular archive your articles, put them in favorites, consult the articles
most read from the app and also search
article on the Internet from the integrated browser then why not
save it to read later. The app syncs all
articles set aside for delayed reading in all devices (iPhone,
iPad, iPod Touch). Greatly useful when you don't have a connection
Internet in certain situations. As a new user of this genre
application, Readability perfectly meets my needs and perhaps a
comparison with its two competitors would be appreciated.

iBooks: Since Apple's latest product has a
larger screen than on previous models, iBooks has become a
application on which I spend more time than before, particularly in
public transport. I can now start reading on my iPad
and continue on my iPhone during short trips.

Tunnel Radio: Unfortunately, the iPhone does not have
still no application from Apple to listen to the radio but ready
Everything, it's not so dramatic when you discover TunelRadio. This
last is for me the best radio application in the App Store. YOU
can listen to both FM radios and internet radios and thanks to it,
I discovered tons of radio stations from all over the world. Such a fan that
I even recently upgraded to the Pro version which adds features
additional features such as recording, schedule recording in advance
or the possibility of pausing the live broadcast.

Onavo Extend: Already presented
here in one of our previous articles
, this application is used to reduce
significantly its data consumption since Onavo Extend uses a
data compression on its publisher's servers. In my opinion,
the application is almost essential if you have a small Fair
Use within your mobile plan or when you are at
the foreigner.

Convertible: Featuring an easy-to-use interface
and themes, this tool is capable of performing multiple conversions
(currency, temperature, mass, etc.) as well with units of measurement
standards (meters, miles, etc.) as well as non-standard units of measurement such as
for example, hold on, the speed of the TGV, the length of the iPhone (3G
to 5 inclusive) or even the size of Clint Eastwood. Practical for following
close to the rate of foreign currencies, particularly when buying on the Internet or
one is abroad and also convert with ease the units of
Anglo-Saxon measurement. Please note, it is in English.

IMDb Films & TV: Every movie buff must absolutely
own this app thatWe
presented to you during its launch
. Optimized for iPhone 5
unlike its competitor Allociné, it contains aimmense base
of data composed of film files and personalities belonging to the world
cinema and the small screen
. The application finds the films for you
the poster in cinemas, allows you to see trailers, provides information on
cinema news and allows you to receive various notifications (releases,
news, new trailers, etc.). You also have the
possibility of creating a free account (IMDb Pro) to be able to
notably rate films or even create lists of films that you
would like to see soon or that you already have in different media
(DVD, Blu-ray, etc.).

Articles: The online encyclopedia Wikipedia is part
sites that I like to consult regularly. As a result, a Wikipedia reader
is obviously essential and this one is rather neat with functions
such as the map to discover lots of things around you or
again the “Surprise me” function to introduce you to an article at
chance by simply shaking your iPhone.

Sleep Cycle alarm clock: What to say about this application
awakening,
which we have already spoken to you about here
, so remarkable that it even
replaced the iPhone's native alarm function for me. Besides waking up more
easy, this application produced by Swedish developers allowed me to
learn a lot more about my own sleep.

Mooncast: A well-made application to display
the moon phases for different activities (gardening, fishing, etc.). Very
simple, it allows you to visualize the current phase of the moon and to
receive reminders for new and full moon days
with the precise time when it will be perfectly full.

Go to bed less stupid: This application has updates
frequent updates is indeed one of the few gems of the App Store.
With a ridiculous price for daily use (2 to 3 new
anecdotes per day) as well as an unlimited lifespan, it allows you to boost
your level of general knowledge while having fun thanks to its number
consequence of anecdotes (more than 2900 to date) and their comments sometimes
even more enriching. The must in terms of general culture and
entertainment on the App Store allows you to optionally share your
knowledge by offering in your turn anecdotes and without a doubt
to impress all your loved ones (family, friends, work colleagues, etc.).

TED: Big fan of TED conferences for some time
years now, this application is full of more interesting videos the
each other which are perfectly classified by theme, by note or
again using tags. Two sections exist to immediately know the
new videos available as well as the most popular ones. It is possible
also download videos directly from the application and
use a bookmark to set aside videos to watch more
late. That's not all because the application has an "Inspire" feature
Me" which offers you a video based on your choice of theme and
of the time you have available. We could perhaps regret the absence of
subtitles but be aware that several other applications of the same genre
available on the App Store can compensate for this absence.

My games

Now for two games that I'm playing quite a bit at the moment:

The Wiki Game: As its name suggests, the game
unfortunately only available in English is based on the exploration of
the Wikipedia encyclopedia. Featuring 5 different game modes for a total of
200 levels, you will need to reach a given Wikipedia article (goal) at
from another defined article (point of origin) with the fewest clicks
possible, going as quickly as possible, without clicking on the United States or
again thanks to six degrees corresponds to six clicks.

Pitfall: On the gaming side, I'm a big fan of Temple Run
which could well have appeared in this list but in the same genre, I
chose Pitfall whoseWe
we already spoke to you here when it came out
which goes even further with
different universes, obstacles, costumes and means of transport in all
genres.

And to finish...

i-nfo.fr: Essential, it is indeed
the application of our iPhon.fr and VIPad.fr sites, including an update
very important should arrive soon. It is very useful especially
when I'm not there in front of the computer to be alerted of good deals and
free evening applications, regularly consult the articles
published and the Good Deals module, read as well as sometimes respond to
comments on published articles and also read open topics on the
site forum. Consider downloading it if you haven't yet...

Note: For our iPhone app folders, if you have theme wishes
to process, they will be welcome at [email protected].
