iOS 18: these 3 new features will be very appreciated

SOthan iOS 17.4is nowavailable, the Apple teams are already working on the sequel, and in particular on iOS 18 and macOS 15. And precisely, our colleagues atMacRumorshave obtained very interesting information from internal sources of the Cupertino company.

The Apple brand is in fact working on certain features related to accessibility on its next OS, as it has now become accustomed to doing. In this regard, it is therefore not certain that these options will see the light of day, but some would certainly be a nice step forward towards more inclusion.

Welcome additions

This is the case with adaptive voice shortcuts that will allow users to link a single phrase to certain accessibility settings. Thanks to this tool, it will be possible to switch between various options such as VoiceOver, Voice Control, or even Zoom, specifies the specialized media.

A new section could also be added in Live Speech. It will thus be possible to create categories and link them to 20 different icons. Remember that this tool already allows you to enter the text of your choice and have it spoken out loud during a phone call and FaceTime or in face-to-face conversations, on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Finally, Apple wants to expand app support for adjustable text size. The latter is already available in the display section of the accessibility settings and allows you to choose the font size that suits you best. It is currently being tested in the macOS menu bar internally. It remains to be seen whether this idea will then be extended to the general public. We will soon find out more during theWWDCwhich will be held next June.
