Announced in March 2015, the partnership between
famous Japanese firm Nintendo and the development studio DeNA had promised
the arrival of five mobile titles, the first of which was
Miitomo seen here during its release, however this one will soon
turn off.
Indeed, the Japanese video game giant has just announced that its
social network, Miitomo
available here on the App Store, vaclose its doorsthe
May 9.
Launched in March 2016, Nintendo's first foray into the field
mobile apps presents itself as an app that allows you to create your own
Miis, a Nintendo version avatar, which can communicate with other Miis
in a virtual world.
However, this did not succeed in convincing mobile users to
communicate with each other via avatars, hence thedecision to stop the app.
At the same time, Nintendo now has several mobile games in its catalog
like Super Mario Run
available here on the App Store, Fire Emblem Heroes
available here on the App Storeet Animal Crossing
available here on the App Store.
The fifth title, which remains unknown for the moment, will probably be 1 year old
behind the original schedule. Moreover, according to Wall Street
Newspaper, it could be
of a game related to the Zelda franchise.
