Is the A12Z Bionic processor the same as its predecessor?

But that's not all. In fact, the RAM has also increased to 6 GB on all models, while the SoC has been revisited.

However, according to several tests carried out since Tuesday, the chipA12Z bionicwould ultimately not be more powerful, andeven less than the one released in 2018. So some smart people wanted to know moreby dismantling the device, but still no clue on the horizon.

The same structure!

In reality, it is by analyzing the architecture ofGPUthat we discover how Apple designed the component. These are exactly thesame eight heartswhich equip the A12X bionic of the third iPad Pro, with the difference that this time they are all activated while there were only seven functioning previously.

Theoperating systemHowever, the tablet has also been updated, supporting more features and still as smooth as you could expect. The consumer will therefore probably not see the difference, unless they look for the little beast. Not to mention that the first customers are clear: this product is a performance monster, capable of competing with Macs.
