The music recognition application
Shazam, which was one of the first to provoke this "wow" effect among
iPhone and smartphone users in general, has beenrecently bought by the giant
from Cupertino. The latter should probably, in the future, integrate the
Shazam technology in its services, Apple Music in particular.
Shazam's updates don't stop though, with the release
recent release of a new version of the iOS app, which bringsa mode outside
connexionallowing titles to be identified even when the user
does not have an internet connection.
More specifically, when a Shazam user launches the app to
identify a title despite a lack of connectivity, recognition of the
song will beput on holduntil the user
recovers 4G or WiFi internet access.
The app notifies the user when the title has been identified and it is
possible to find it in the “My Shazam” area of the application.
Shazam also offers an Apple Watch app, which can identify a title even
without an iPhone nearby using the Apple Watch's cellular connection
Series 3.
