Ted Lasso, an exclusive series produced by Apple TV+, continues to garner awards. After having obtained a Golden Globes, that ofbest actor for Jason Sudeikis, ettrois Critics Choice Award, in addition to many other awards, she was recently recognized at the 2021 Writers Guild of America Awards.
Ted Lasso won in the categoryBest New Series(best new series) and in the categoryBest Comedy Series(best comedy series).
As our colleagues from PatentlyApple point out, this brings its total rewards obtained to86, pour329 nominations, since its first episode aired last year on Apple TV+.
This is not the first series on the Apple platform to be highlighted in this way. The Morning Show, a series hosted by Jennifer Aniston, includesun Emmy Award, but alsomultiple Golden Globe nominations.
All these prices matter. Apple, failing tonot counting a very extensive catalog, can only rely on the quality of its proposals. And seeing several of its contents win awards allows on the one hand to put them in the spotlight and therefore to make them known more widely to the general public, on the other hand, to confirm a high level of production.
For our part, we particularly appreciated the Ted Lasso series and we can only recommend it to you. As a reminder, this is the story of a former American football coach recruited by a British championship football team. The tone is mainly humorous. But more broadly, the series manages to provide varied emotions in the viewer. And then, it is true that Jason Sudeikis' performance in the role of Ted Lasso is particularly convincing, while the rest of the cast is just as brilliant!
Who among you saw Ted Lasso? Are you as big a fan as we are in the editorial office?
