Recent days have been marked by accusations from Telegram towards Apple, the first announcing that a major update was deliberately blocked by Cupertino. Fortunately, theversion 8.9of the messaging service is finally available. So let's take a quick overview of its changes.
To begin, the application reveals thepersonalized and animated emojiswhich are availablefor premium membersonly with a total of nearly five hundred little characters to share, but the media library is open and everyone can suggest their own creations. If a paying user sends you one of these images, you will also be able to view it for free.
More options for privacy
Now, here too for users subscribed to the Telegram premium plan, an additional setting is available allowing them todecide who can send them audio and video messages. Three choices are offered: everyone, only contacts saved in your directory or people. To refine this option, it is also possible to add exceptions by manually choosing certain of your friends to exclude from the list. The path to follow to make this modification isSettings > Privacy & Security > Audio Messageson iOS.

When it's done, your recipient receives a private message with a special animation notifying them of your gift.
