Please note that the NAACP Image Awards aim to highlight the work of artists promoting social equality and justice through their works.

The Banker was directed by George Nolfi. It has been available since last year on Apple TV+. It tells the true story of two African-American entrepreneurs, who, during the 1960s, in Los Angeles, used different strategies to grow their company specializing in real estate, but also to resist the racist attacks of which they were victims.

In the casting, we find renowned actors, such as Anthony Mackie, seen in 8 Mile in particular, but also No Pain No Gain, as well as Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, Unbreakable, etc.), Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road) or Nia Long (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, New York 911).

This new price comes at the right time, as the Apple TV+ service benefits from a nice push forward created by the recent awards garnered by one of its successful flagship series:Ted Lasso.
