Two weeks days after releaseiOS 13.4.5 Beta 2, Apple issues a new delivery. Since yesterday evening, the Californian firm has made a third beta available to users registered in the public beta test program for the next versions of the following OS:
- iOS 13.4.5, which becomes iOS 13.5 in passing
- iPadOS 13.4.5, which becomes iPadOS 13.5 in passing
- watchOS 6.2.5
- macOS 10.15.5
This new beta of iOS/iPadOS brings some notable new features, hence possibly the change in number from 13.4.5 to 13.5:
- new COVID-19 exposure notification API
- security patch for the Mail app,for a flaw described here
- possibility ofdisable face zoom in FaceTime
- quick switch from Face ID to unlock code when wearing a mask
In addition, note that the previous beta versions of iOS 13.4.5 brought some new features, particularly to the Apple Music app, with easy sharing of listening via Facebook and Instagram.
