Tutorial: record iPhone / iPad screen video easily with OS X Yosemite

Whether you are a developer or a user,
it can be useful to be able to save an application displayed on
the iPhone screen to then broadcast it…

Unfortunately, this is not possible directly on the iPhone or iPad
(except with Jailbreak solutions and/or parallel installs) but Apple has everything
planned with OS X Yosemite. For good reason, the App Store now welcomes
videos, so you have to be able to make them! Good news is
very simple. No need to use apps likeReflector,
everything is integrated into the system. All you need is a Mac, an iPhone
and a lightning cable
:

Let us specify again that the Mac must run OS X Yosemiten as for
the iPhone or iPad they must be running iOS 8. Second thing, the iPhone or
the iPad must be plugged into the Mac so that
recording can be done.

On the iPhone there is absolutely nothing to do. Everything happens on the Mac and
more particularlyin the Quick Time app. It's necessary
so launch it, then press File then New video recording in order to
to start recording.

A window that uses the Mac's built-in camera will then open. He goes
have to change the source. To do this, simply press the very small
arrow in the middle of the screen just to the right of the save button. Rest then
hasselect iPhone from drop-down menuand, as by
magic, the iPhone screen appears on that of the Mac. We can then
record everything that happens there.

Apple has thought of everything since on the iPhone which is displayed on the Mac, the
network is fully displayed, as is the battery and it is always

From now on, developers, testers or amateurs can register apps
and iPhone and iPad tutorials easily!
