The future of Apple TV+: the elite of Hollywood, for more films and series… and sports?

Since November 1, the first day of availability of the Apple TV+ streaming service, criticism of the latter has converged on the thinness of its catalog. The quality seems to be there. In addition to its in-house productions, Apple must enrich its catalog with the help of partnerships, probably a necessary step to become a major competitor to Netflix and other online streaming behemoths.

For these purposes, it has reportedly negotiated in recent weeks with the MGM Epix channel to obtain rights to new films and series. Added to this are his future collaborations withEden Productions, a new production company created by Richard Pepler, ex-boss of HBO.

Apple would possibly consider broadcasting matches from these university basketball, baseball and even American football leagues.
