Is the new iMac really worth the money compared to its predecessor?

As you know, the lastApple Keynote took place last night, and the Apple company presented its new computers to us. After a few minutes of introduction concluded with a speech by our dear Tim Cook, the new processorsApple Silicon M3were presented, for approximately 8 minutes.

This was followed by the announcement of the MacBook Pro, which lasted 13 minutes, then that of our main interested party for this post, the iMac M3, which was presented to him during the end of the conference, for about 4 minutes. This may seem quite short compared to the other two main topics, but it was enough to make our mouths water! Let's see what differentiates it from its predecessor.

Like recent cars, it consumes less, but goes faster

The main development since the previous generation of iMac is that they are now equipped with the new Apple Silicon M3 chip. This new processor also follows thesame design base as the A17 of the iPhone 15 Pro. Both were in fact manufactured using 3 nanometer technology.

The Cupertino company announces the new iMac as being twice as fast as its predecessor. Ideal for boosting your multitasking productivity. The M3 also offers much better graphics performance to the iMac than the M1, and Apple also announces that it is capable of runningmost video games, even at the highest graphics settings.

A hassle-free connection thanks to Wi-Fi 6E

Aside from the M3 chip, there's one other change for the iMac, and that concerns the device's wireless connectivity. Apple's new desktop computer goes thn effect from Wi-Fi 6 to Wi-Fi 6E, which operates on a more powerful frequency band than its predecessor.

There are no other significant new features compared to previous versions, but this should already satisfy many!
