A “True Tone” screen for the 3 new iPhones of 2017?

The iPhone 8, according tolatest rumors, should happen
rather loaded with new features, to say the least. But here is some news
rumor has just appeared recently, or rather an update of a
old hypothesis, according to which the next Apple iPhones of 2017
should integrate the True Tone technology seen on iPad Pro. The latter
allows the screen to adapt in real time to the ambient brightness in a manner
to always offer the most accurate color rendering possible, in all
situations. Last year, some analysts already saw this function on
l’iPhone 7 :

At the moment, True Tone technology is only available on one
Apple device, orthe 9.7-inch iPad Proreleased in March 2016.
But according toBarclays, its sources and analysts, the next
iPhone, iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8 should each integrate a
OLED display with adaptive color screen technology, similar to True
Tone.

To underpin this, ambient light sensors are needed,
the 9.7-inch iPad Pro also has 4. For iPhones, this would be the
AMS subcontractor whose mission would be to supply these parts.

But while the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, in continuation of the large iPad Pro
format, is part of a professional approach, particularly for
drawing artists, photographers and videographers, for whom colors
must be as fair as possible, for the iPhone, in any case the 7s models
and 7s Plus, the integration of True Tone seems less obvious.

Perhaps to at least gain reading comfort, while Apple
could certainly justify such technology for work of
iPhone photography.

Would this be a good feature for the iPhone, in your opinion?
