Gurman announces MacBook Pros between September and November

Mark Gurman is one of the most in-depth analysts regarding the Apple brand, the Bloomberg journalist recently announced that Apple should release itsNew generation 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro between September and November, as part of a new launch session which should take place in the fall.

In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Gurman says the new MacBook Pros will go into production in the third quarter (July-August-September) of this year, and are expected to be announced by Apple“between September and November at the latest”. Last year, Apple waited until November to unveil its MacBook Air, Pro and Mac mini equipped for the very first time with the M1 chip, with performance never before seen on an Apple laptop.

Gurman supportsthat Apple had initially planned to launch its MacBook Pro much earlier in the year, but problems surrounding the production of mini-LEDs have considerably delayed the launch of this new generation of laptops on the Cupertino side.

New MacBook Pros with M1X?

The new MacBook Pros had initially been announced by several rumors as the little surprise of the last WWDC, ultimately Apple had deceived most of the brand's analysts by delaying the release of the product, obviously to the end of the year.

These computers should benefit from several new features such as mini-LED screen technology, the same as that already used in the high-end 12.9-inch iPad Pro announced last April. The other big change should be the arrival of a new chip, for the moment called M1X by the various rumors about it. It should be even faster and more powerful than the M1 chip released last November.

The MacBook Pros should have several other improvements, such as the permanent removal of the TouchBar or the return of several connector ports such as an SD card reader or an HDMI port.
