The list of new features
- Settings:new option to choose the version to install for a user registered in the beta test program, in the case where several versions of the OS are deployed in parallel
- AirTag :iOS 14.6 introduces the possibility of indicating an email address instead of a telephone number for the message communicated to the person who finds the beacon, while it is in Lost Mode. Please note, if you choose an email address in addition to the phone number, it will be partially hidden from the user who has found the AirTag. It will only see the full email address
- Apple Podcasts :arrival ofpaid podcastssubscription and new functionality for grouping podcasts by channels, including content from different creators
- Apple Music :supportLossless Audio and Spatial Audio modes(but deployment of these two new distribution methods from June)
- Apple Card : family sharingfor the Apple payment card (unavailable in France at the time of publication of this article)
- Accessibility:possibility of unlocking your iPhone using voice commands after startup
- Bugs: fixes for various bugs, including the one causing the iPhone to slow down on startup, the one causing the Bluetooth to be disconnected during a call, the one affecting the display of certain reminders in the Reminders app or the one preventing the unlocking of the iPhone via the Apple Watch to work correctly

How to update?
iOS and iPadOS 14.6
Version 14.6 is available forall iPhones that can benefit from iOS 14. For iPadOS, version 14.6 is available foriPad OS 14 compatible tablets.
It is very easy to update your iOS device. However, no one is safe from problems during the procedure. This is why it is necessaryalways remember to make a backup of the devicebefore installing a new OS. The backup can be done via iCloud or through iTunes,as explained here.
