The third beta version of iOS 15.2 has been available since last night. Same for iPadOS 15.2, tvOS 15.2 and watchOS 8.3. In addition to the bug fixes, here are the notable additions we noticed:

  • Apple Arcade :When performing a Spotlight search for a game, it says “Arcade” if the game is only available through the service of the same name

Find below the new features brought by the previous beta versions of iOS 15.2, beta1and beta2.

  • iMessage Child Protection:Apple is rolling out in iOS 15.2 a new feature announced this summer concerning the protection of children from pornographic images. It helps protect a user receiving this potentially shocking content. This function is intended for children. It is available for family accounts, is not activated by default and only concerns files received in Messages. See details about thisici
  • Camera :new icon indicating that Macro mode is activated when taking a photo and new button to activate Macro mode directly from the Camera app
  • Digital heritage:functionality describediciand allowing you to give access to your iCloud account to a trusted third party. This is practical especially in the event of death.
