After
yesterday's rumorconcerning wireless charging generalized to all
iPhone of 2017 and not just the most expensive model, here's a new one
report relayed byDigitimessupports the thesisalready heard
iciof the integration of an iris scanner for the iPhone 8. This technology
could allow the unlocking of the device and the identification of
the user by eye scanner via the front camera:
The iris scanner, the renowned analysis Ming-Chi Kuo already predicted for
2017,
as announced here. In August 2016, Digitimes, however, did not see
this technology ready before 2018.
Today's new report supports Kuo's thesis, KGI's analysis
Securities, with the arrival of Iris recognition already this year, while
that sources close to TSMC, a subcontractor for Apple, also spoke
of orders for iris scanner chips in summer 2016 for future
iPhone.
Rumor therefore has good grounds for being taken seriously, while
technology has already been seen notably on the Galaxy Note 7 without however making
big noise, this Samsung smartphone being better known for its batteries
faulty and its tragic destiny than for its technical prowess.
In any case, if we put together the previous information about
the iPhone 8, the latter should obviously be equipped with fairly
innovative, as few would have previously imagined. In addition to the
iris recognition therefore, should also be included: a
edge-to-edge OLED display, wireless charging technology, buttons
touchscreens on the edges replacing the physical buttons and a new
Home touch button below the screen.
Added to this are the double photo sensor on the back and waterproofing.
even better than the iPhone 7, to obtain an iPhone 8 which should see its
price soar compared to the rest of the range,
as explained here.
