An iris scanner for the iPhone from 2017?

According to Digitimes and via a source from
from China, the Taiwanese supplierXintec, affiliate of the firm
TSMC, reportedly received orders for iris recognition chips from the
from Apple and foriPhone which would see the light of day in 2017.
This is all the more surprising since this technology was until then, according to
the latest rumors, rather expected for
the iPhone of 2018
. But it could well be that the iPhone of the year
next timeeven more innovative than expected:

For this moment, we lend this iPhone 2017 a fairly special and very
far from the iPhone 6s or even the iPhone 7. Indeed, according to rumors and
forecasts, next year's iPhone should be equipped with a
OLED screen, of a constructionall glass
and would see disappearthe physical “home” button.

Concerning iris recognition, the technology is already implemented
in smartphones available on the market, the latest of which
Galaxy Note 7
from Samsung, but also theFujutsi Arrows NX
F-04G
in Japan.

And while some saw this technology ratherarrive
with the 2018 iPhone
, the rumor of the day revealed by Digitimes
joins the prediction made a few months ago by renowned analyst Ming-Chi
Kuo from KGI Securities, that is, next year's iPhone
could alreadyidentify a user by analyzing their sound
oeil
.

This would make two iPhones in quick succession, 2017 and 2018, each featuring
major improvements. Despite everything, for the moment it is better to take this
information with tweezers.

Let's see what the next iPhone 7 will have in its belly, it should be
presented onSeptember 7 during the annual keynote
d’Apple
.
