Beta update for macOS 14.5, tvOS 17.5 and visionOS 1.2

With iOS and watchOS, tvOS 17.5 also benefited from itsfourth edition betathis night. The developer does not, however, specify release notes forthis new version, which arrives at the same time asmacOS 14.5 beta 4etvisionOS 1.2 beta 4.

As a reminder, a beta version should only be installed with full knowledge of the facts. Bugs may therefore occur when using devices equipped with them.

The new beta versions of tvOS 17.5, macOS 14.5 and visionOS 1.2 are already available to the general public and developers.

What's new in these fourth betas?

We don't havenot discovered any major noveltywith macOS 14.5 beta 4, nor with tvOS 17.5 beta 4 or visionOS 1.2 beta 4. For the Apple TV operating system, there are therefore not even official release notes, or rather they are empty. We therefore do not count the slightest correction mentioned, in particular.

macOS 14.5 beta 4on the other hand benefits from an important bug resolution for those who use FaceTime. Some previously were unable to accept or decline a call. It's now ancient history. Apple also solved a problem computers encountered with apps designed for iPad, at the same time.

Finally, regarding visionOS 1.2 beta 4, know that Apple has also been rather stingy with new features. Here, several bugs have also been resolved, including one with the keyboards and one where calls received on an Apple Watch or an iPad did not synchronize correctly with the Apple Vision Pro.

What devices are compatible?

The list of Macs compatible with macOS Sonomais already known. As for visionOS, the only device to be equipped with it today is the Apple Vision Pro.

Finally, note that tvOS 17 and its versions can be installed on Apple TV 4K from the first generation to the third, as well as on the Apple TV HD released in 2015.
