6000 responses later, here is the best iPhone design in your opinion!

The iPhone is celebrating its 10th anniversary. It was on January 9, 2007 that
its very first version was presented on stage by Steve Jobs. Difficult to
the time to imagine how much the machine was going to disrupt the landscape of
mobile manufacturers, but well beyond, would launch innovations
connected both software and hardware which pass through this hub
digital.

A lot of things have changed since then, components, sizes, shapes,
capabilities, but alsodesign. The iPhone 7 of 2016 is not in
effect more in common with the very first model but the evolution has
nevertheless been progressive, and we saw the iPhone go through different stages,
especially in terms of aesthetics.

We wanted to knowwhich iPhone had the most successful design
according to youin our latest survey, here are the results!

The survey, which was the subject of impressive mobilization (more than
5 000 votes), asked the following question: "What design
have you preferred until now?" Six answers were proposed, to choose from
between: “the first iPhone Edge” – “the iPhone 3G and 3GS” – “the iPhone 4
and 4S" "read iPhone 5, 5s and SE", "l'iPhone 5c" and "read iPhone 6, 6s and 7".

The numbers

TheFavorite iPhone design is the rounded and thin one of the iPhone 6, 6s
et 7which brings together33% of reviews, but it is followed
very closely by the rectangular appearance of the iPhone 5, 5s and SE, which gives it
totalize31 %.

The iPhone 4 and 4s close the podium with almost a fifth of the votes.
Let's note thevery low score obtained by the iPhone 5c, Mr. 1
%. For the first two iPhones, the 2007 one is at 4%, its next version
at 13%.

We notice in these results anotable preference for
latest device designs(the 5c doing
exception): the last two developments in terms of aesthetics
totaling almost2/3 of preferences.

And nostalgia

Even if the design introduced by the iPhone 6 is in the lead in terms of
figures, in comments, it is not necessarily the one which receives the most
of praise. It seems that many of the older models beat the
heart of nostalgic people. Many old onesiPhone 5s owners
salute the design of the latter for its rear camera which does not
not exceed, for its square edges allowing it to be placed in mode
landscape and for its ideal size.

It is no coincidence that Apple reused this design to
the iPhone SE. This iPhone with 4-inch screen and latest components launched
in March 2016 could capitalize on a design that had not particularly
aged and remained attractive. It was one of the surprise successes of
2016 !

Concerning previous models, the 4s is often qualified
elegant, with its glass case, while the iPhone 3G
is praised for hisexcellent handling and good
résistancedespite the use of plastic.

Regarding the iPhone 6 and later, the case is described as "more
soft", but is criticized for its protruding camera and its shape which has
tendency to slip from the hands. On the other hand, the matte black and black colors of
jet of the latest iPhone 7 undoubtedly allowsrestart a certain
attractiveness for this same design.

In the end, these are indeed theiPhone 6, 6s and 7 which win the
palmeof the favorite design of iPhon.fr readers, with a
special mentionfor iPhone 5, 5s and SE therefore.

It now remains to be seen in which direction Apple has decided to evolve for
the next September model
2017. Rumors speak of an iPhone 8 with glass case, OLED screen
edge to edge and Home button hidden under the screen.
