The wait was long, a previous announcement mentioned the arrival of Apple Pay support by the two banksfor the year 2020, without however giving a more precise window.
However, several details should be noted regarding this news. On the one hand, for Crédit Mutuel, this is the main groupFederal Alliancewhich is announced compatible. Other subsidiaries, such as Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, had already been compatible with Apple Pay for several months previously. On the other hand, in both cases, Crédit Mutul and CIC,only MasterCard bank cardsare currently supported. To use a Visa card from one of these two banks, you will have to wait a few more weeks.
