Update – The 3rd developer beta of iOS 14 is available: what changes?

Update: added new features detected in iOS 14 beta 3.

That's it, a new beta version of iOS 14 is available for developers registered in the beta test program.

What changes with this new beta of iOS 14?

This new beta brings several changes, including the following:

• Icône Apple Music: the icon changes background color, which is no longer white, but now red

• Widget Apple Music: its widget also changes design with the red background

• Design Apple Music: new icons are proposed for the user library next to the categories (playlists, artists, albums, etc.)

• Apple Music and sharing: ability to share songs, albums and playlists from the Apple Music app to Snapchat Stories
• Watch: appearance of a widget with several possible configurations

• Screen time: change of design for the widget

• Widgets:  new pop-up window explaining how widgets work when editing widgets for the first time
• Home screen: new pop-up window explaining the editing possibilities of the home screen

• App Library: new pop-up window explaining how the App Library works
• Memojis: surgical masks are more detailed

• App Library: new context menu with shortcuts accessible by pressing an app icon in the App Library app list (until now, this context menu could only be displayed in the App Library grid view)
• Screen zoom adjustment: now available on 5.8-inch iPhones (iPhone X, XS and 11 Pro)
• Translation: translation functions now work locally and no longer on the basis of remote servers
• View Today: editing widgets activates “jiggle mode”, which sees the widgets shake until the changes are validated
• Hand washing: new hand washing functionality, with adjustable regular alerts and timer

• Shortcuts: new suggestions for startup shortcuts to show the user the possibilities offered by the app

Bugs :

• Weather widget: the latter is all black and not visible
• 3D Touch: 3D shortcuts are no longer available (temporarily, according to Apple's release note)

• Storage: fixed the bug which caused many GB of data to be taken up by the “Other” category in “iPhone Storage”
